What to do if . . .

You have been sexually assaulted

Contact the local law enforcement immediately.  (You have the right to decide whether or not to press charges.)  Seek medical attention as soon as possible.  Seek counseling and support through The Abuse Network and/or someone you trust.

Your child has been sexually assaulted

Immediately contact the local law enforcement.  Contact The Abuse Network for assistance with various services.

A friend has been sexually assaulted

Be supportive.  Gather resources available in your community and share them with your friend.  Encourage him/her to utilize available services.
